Spectators: 6171 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1105, VIP seats: 66) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jerry Koh took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 8th minute, Azly Shiong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicholas Shiong was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mirfield AFC's goalkeeper Nicholas Shiong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerry Koh got free with Nicholas Shiong in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 19 minutes, Edward Polakowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Milton Warriors and the Mirfield AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute, Edward Polakowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shahron Braddell came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mirfield AFC's Farhan Pillai. But to his dismay, Farhan Pillai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 25th match minute, Mirfield AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Yip to maneuver through the defense. Farhan Pillai kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. When Adam Yip fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mirfield AFC's protests and gave Adam Yip a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Adam Yip hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Polakowski in the 37th minute of play forced Mirfield AFC's goalkeeper Nicholas Shiong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jerry Koh kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicholas Shiong. That made the score 2-1 in the 41 minute of play. Nicholas Shiong made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Jerry Koh sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Farhan Pillai made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Mirfield AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ronn Yip hit a great ball. In the 61st minute Edward Polakowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicholas Shiong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Alif Sim made a precise shot to the right of Nicholas Shiong. Mirfield AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Nicholas Shiong came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Milton Warriors's Azly Shiong. But to his dismay, Azly Shiong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Nicholas Shiong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Koh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 played minutes Mirfield AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Teo. Mujahid Sim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Jerry Koh made a precise shot to the right of Nicholas Shiong. Mirfield AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Nicholas Shiong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Koh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87thth minute of the game Azly Shiong who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mirfield AFC's Nicholas Shiong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Mirfield AFC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Shahron Lim hit a great ball. Farhan Pillai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Milton Warriors had played much better football throughout.
