Edward Polakowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zak Butcher having to interfere. Zak Butcher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Hedström, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Sebastian Hedström kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Milton Warriors's Shahron Braddell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afriz Lee in the 43rd minute of play. Zak Butcher made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerry Koh in the 45th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Shahron Braddell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Afriz Lee struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Mujahid Sim took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zak Butcher. Zak Butcher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Arsenals's Zak Butcher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Polakowski in the 62nd minute of play. Milton Warriors's Edward Polakowski got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Afriz Lee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Shahron Braddell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Ali Hian dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Shahron Braddell, 1-3. A collision led to Arsenals getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Danial Sarangapani hit a great ball. Zak Butcher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerry Koh, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, Milton Warriors's Edward Polakowski got a free kick in the 86th minute. Milton Warriors's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Danial Sarangapani scored to the left of an out of position Shahron Braddell, making the score, 1-5. A collision led to Arsenals getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Adam Keng hit a great ball. After 94 played minutes Milton Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Hedström. The supporters of Arsenals booed when Milton Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azly Shiong didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Arsenals eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
