The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Chong charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Chong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Alton Towers getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Haziq Seah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 minutes of play, white bull's Haziq Tuan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haziq Seah was left in no man's land by his defense there! Danish Chandran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zafran Shyan in the 26th minute. white bull's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fariz Seng 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. In the 34th minute, Haziq Tuan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The white bull fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Alton Towers's zone, Haziq Tuan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haziq Seah came out of the goal and Haziq Tuan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Haziq Tuan to make the kick off. Alton Towers's Haziq Seah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Alton Towers from getting a goal against them. The supporters of white bull booed when Alton Towers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aziz Lim didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Haziq Tuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, white bull's Darren Seng got a free kick in the 60th minute. Famih Tian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haziq Seah read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 69th minute Fariz Seng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danish Chandran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danish Chandran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zafran Shyan went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 75 minutes into the match, Alton Towers's Zafran Shyan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danish Chandran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Famih Tian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Haziq Seah having to make a save. Haziq Seah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haziq Tuan in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, white bull's goal looked a bit too open when Zafran Shyan came free, but Danish Chandran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Zafran Shyan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alton Towers's supporters rose to their feet, but Zafran Shyan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danish Chandran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The white bull supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing white bull would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
