Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 155) The supporters of Ashton-under-Lyne booed when Queenstown FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniz Lee didn't get a good kick on the ball. If John Yi-Sheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lee Hongyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wong Dryburgh having to interfere. Ashton-under-Lyne's Wong Dryburgh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Yi-Sheng in the 9th minute of play. When John Yi-Sheng came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Queenstown FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Yi-Sheng couldn't finish the play. Dale Ching fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Tee having to interfere. Dale Ching's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Adam Tee skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dale Ching sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Daniz Lee managed to get in a good position for a shot. Queenstown FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniz Lee was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wong Dryburgh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute Lee Hongyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wong Dryburgh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that John Yi-Sheng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wong Dryburgh was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when John Yi-Sheng stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wong Dryburgh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Yi-Sheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Ron Nagasaki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Adam Tee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wong Dryburgh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Yi-Sheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lee Hongyi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Wong Dryburgh made a huge save. Adam Tee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ron Nagasaki in the 71st minute of the match. Adam Tee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dale Ching in the 72nd minute of play. Wong Dryburgh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of John Yi-Sheng's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Lee Hongyi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 75th minute. Queenstown FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 77thth minute of the game John Yi-Sheng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ashton-under-Lyne's Wong Dryburgh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ashton-under-Lyne's Wong Dryburgh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Ashton-under-Lyne from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute, Ron Nagasaki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th match minute, Queenstown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniz Lee to maneuver through the defense. Lee Hongyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wong Dryburgh having to interfere. John Yi-Sheng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wong Dryburgh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of John Yi-Sheng's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Queenstown FC's goalkeeper Adam Tee, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Queenstown FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
