Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dale Chai started the match with the kick off. Rifqi Paine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Liang, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute Dale Chai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Hsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Afiz Chian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Adam Hsin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15th minute, Stroud United's Albert Liang dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After 18 played minutes Crystal Palace FC got a freekick which was hit by Didi Chuan. Stroud United's Adam Hsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Chai in the 26th minute of play. Alexander Sarangapani charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Sarangapani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Stroud United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! Rifqi Paine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khai Tan in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Didi Chuan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crystal Palace FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stroud United the free kick. The supporters of Stroud United booed when Crystal Palace FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Chuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albert Liang got free with Rifqi Paine in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aziz Ramachandran kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Azly Soon during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Crystal Palace FC's Famih Butcher was substituted for Shah Devan. Stroud United's Adam Hsin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Stroud United from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Crystal Palace FC's Alexander Leng slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adam Hsin. That made the score 1-3 after 62 minutes of play. Adam Hsin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dale Chai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Stroud United's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Tan came free, but Adam Hsin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dale Chai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Adam Hsin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Famih Butcher made in the 84th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jonathan Tian immediately put the ball in play. Rifqi Paine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Liang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Didi Chuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle went the supporters of Crystal Palace FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Stroud United side.
