Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Shukrie Hian made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the game, Shukrie Hian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Adam Hsin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Albert Liang sped through Swanley's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sean Lum. Khai Tan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Albert Liang sped through Swanley's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sean Lum. When Stroud United's Albert Liang in 16 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Sean Lum guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 18 minutes into the match, Stroud United's goal looked a bit too open when Shukrie Hian came free, but Adam Hsin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wei Xuan Lim lost his temper 18 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 17 minutes into the game, one of Stroud United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Adam Hsin had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Hidayat Chandran's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Adam Hsin came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Swanley's Hidayat Chandran. But to his dismay, Hidayat Chandran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Samuel Butcher kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adam Hsin. That made the score 3-2 in the 22 minute of play. In the 26th minute, Sajeev Seah ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adam Hsin was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Adam Hsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shukrie Hian in the 28th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Swanley got a freekick which was hit by Steven Yip. Sarb Sum hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Shukrie Hian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adam Hsin having to make a save. A collision led to Swanley getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Samuel Butcher hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Sarb Sum notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Swanley's Sean Lum. Sean Lum was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 39th match minute, Swanley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Khairil Choo to maneuver through the defense. If Sarb Sum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shukrie Hian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Adam Hsin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Khai Tan to strike the kick off in the second half. Adam Hsin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Butcher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sean Lum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khai Tan in the 54th minute of the match. Stroud United's Adam Hsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shukrie Hian in the 57th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Khai Tan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stroud United's supporters rose to their feet, but Khai Tan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sean Lum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Stroud United booed when Swanley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Butcher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Swanley's Sajeev Seah got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd match minute, Stroud United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Abdul to maneuver through the defense. Sean Lum was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Khai Tan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-4 in the 72 minute of play. A collision led to Stroud United getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Alexander Sarangapani hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, Hidayat Chandran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-4. Adam Hsin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 79 minutes, Khai Tan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stroud United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Khai Tan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Sajeev Seah came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Swanley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sajeev Seah couldn't finish the play. Albert Liang's late challenge caught a Swanley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Liang helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes Stroud United got a freekick which was hit by Albert Liang. Khairil Choo made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Stroud United's Faris Abisheganaden. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Swanley were victorious despite being under pressure from Stroud United for much of the match.
