Annscroft FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Annscroft FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ryan Nagasaki hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Darryl Swee sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Annscroft FC's Khairil Namasivayam didn't even have to move. In the 11th minute, Iskandar Wah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute, Alexander Lee got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Shafiq Chien-Kwan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Lee in the 15th minute of play. Alexander Lee was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Annscroft FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Dale Singh hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Iskandar Wah ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Khairil Namasivayam was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Gara Chee's late challenge caught a Oulton Broad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gara Chee helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Annscroft FC's Gara Chee got a free kick in the 39th minute. The supporters of Oulton Broad booed when Annscroft FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryan Nagasaki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Khairil Namasivayam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Low in the 44th minute of play. Iskandar Wah blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Khairil Namasivayam having to make a save. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Annscroft FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oulton Broad the free kick. Iskandar Wah came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Khairil Namasivayam could save by the left post. Shafiq Chien-Kwan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Lee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shafiq Chien-Kwan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gara Chee went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. If Gara Chee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shafiq Chien-Kwan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gara Chee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ryan Low received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Khairil Namasivayam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Annscroft FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Oulton Broad for a fine match.
