When Khairil Hoe came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Liskeard AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Khairil Hoe couldn't finish the play. When Mujahid Sum fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brentford's protests and gave Mujahid Sum a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Brentford getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Mujahid Sum hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Liskeard AFC's Faris Ning got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Clive Lum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Shafiq Wah to make the kick off. In the 60th match minute, Brentford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamir Vijiaratnam to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rdth minute of the game Clive Lum who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liskeard AFC's Alam Lee was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alam Lee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clive Lum in the 65th minute of play. Gerard Dhanabalan hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Alam Lee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clive Lum, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Arif Amin charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arif Amin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 84 played minutes Liskeard AFC got a freekick which was hit by Arif Amin. In the last second Alam Lee throw himself and got hold of the ball when Clive Lum in the 86thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. If Clive Lum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faris Seng was extremely unlucky when he, in the 90th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Liskeard AFC's Alam Lee proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Liskeard AFC from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the match, Liskeard AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Clive Lum came free, but Alam Lee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
