The referee showed Fariz Hsin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fariz Hsin kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Ong Siang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Firdauz Hongyi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rifki Tan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 27th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. After 29 played minutes Holton-le-Clay got a freekick which was hit by Firdauz Hongyi. Holton-le-Clay's Rifki Tan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aziz Hui in the 31st minute of play. Rifki Tan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aziz Hui in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Holton-le-Clay booed when Salisbury United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniz Hong didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Daniz Hong left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Salisbury United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Salisbury United's Fariz Hsin suffered a sore thigh after 41 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 41 minutes into the game, Alan Hsi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Holton-le-Clay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salisbury United the free kick. In the 42nd match minute, Holton-le-Clay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Hsi to maneuver through the defense. Ong Siang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Firdauz Hongyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Firdauz Hongyi to strike the kick off in the second half. Rifki Tan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniz Hong in the 54th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Afriz Lam cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Rifki Tan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Firdauz Hongyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afriz Lam's late challenge caught a Holton-le-Clay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Afriz Lam helped the player get up and apologised. Afriz Lam hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Holton-le-Clay's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Wah came free, but Rifki Tan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Daniz Hong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rifki Tan. Holton-le-Clay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniz Hong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in Salisbury United's zone, Firdauz Hongyi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ong Siang came out of the goal and Firdauz Hongyi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Salisbury United's Daniz Hong got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alan Hsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Holton-le-Clay's Rifki Tan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afriz Lam in the 89th minute of play. Rifki Tan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afriz Lam, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Daniz Hong made a precise shot to the right of Rifki Tan. Holton-le-Clay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Salisbury United had played much better football throughout.
