An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniz Ning in the 13th minute of play forced Miracle FC's goalkeeper Shukrie Hee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Harrow's zone, Tan Butcher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Chian came out of the goal and Tan Butcher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Noh Wah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miracle FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noh Wah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tan Butcher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bineesh Lee fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Harrow's protests and gave Bineesh Lee a yellow card for diving instead. Tan Butcher's late challenge caught a Harrow's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tan Butcher helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Harrow's Ali Chian got control of the ball when Tan Butcher tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ali Chian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohammad Seah in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, one of Harrow:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Harrow. In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for Miracle FC. Mohammad Seah stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ali Chian. 2-0. Tan Butcher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Chian having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Tan Butcher made the kick off in the second half.
