Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Clive Lum started the match with the kick off. Holton-le-Clay's Rifki Tan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faris Seng in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clive Lum in the 6th minute of play forced Holton-le-Clay's goalkeeper Rifki Tan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Brentford's Adam Yi-Sheng got a free kick in the 7th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wei Xuan Kool during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Brentford getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Wei Xuan Kool hit a great ball. A collision led to Holton-le-Clay getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Alan Hsi hit a great ball. If Firdauz Hongyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 minutes, Alan Tioe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brentford and the Holton-le-Clay players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Brentford getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Alan Tioe hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Wei Xuan Kool made a precise shot to the right of Rifki Tan. Holton-le-Clay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Brentford's Lee Seah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Firdauz Hongyi in the 25th minute of play. Rifki Tan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clive Lum in the 27th minute of the match. When Alan Hsi came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Holton-le-Clay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Hsi couldn't finish the play. If Alan Hsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Holton-le-Clay's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Tioe came free, but Rifki Tan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clive Lum in the 40th minute of play forced Holton-le-Clay's goalkeeper Rifki Tan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 minutes of play, Holton-le-Clay's Alan Hsi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lee Seah was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Firdauz Hongyi to make the kick off. Rifki Tan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clive Lum in the 53rd minute of the match. Rifki Tan made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Faris Seng sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Holton-le-Clay's Rifki Tan got control of the ball when Iskandar Chai tried to sneak it across the goal line. Khairil Seah hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, Brentford's Iskandar Cheng broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 62 played minutes Holton-le-Clay got a freekick which was hit by SK Hong. Rifki Tan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 67th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. In the 71st minute, Alan Hsi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Holton-le-Clay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Clive Lum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Alan Tioe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brentford fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Hsi in the 82nd minute of play forced Brentford's goalkeeper Lee Seah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clive Lum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rifki Tan came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Brentford's Iskandar Chai. But to his dismay, Iskandar Chai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4.
