Aziz Wah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Chong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faiz Yeo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Teddy Grauel made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Norbury's Faiz Yeo got a free kick in the 30th minute. A collision led to Liverpool city getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jonathan Chong hit a great ball. Egídio Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egídio Palmeira took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aziz Wah. Aziz Wah dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Teddy Grauel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zack Chew in the 52nd minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Didi Choy recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aziz Wah. Didi Choy showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 63rd minute, Nicholas Hsi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Muhammad Vijiaratnam fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Norbury's protests and gave Muhammad Vijiaratnam a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Norbury getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Muhammad Vijiaratnam hit a great ball. Liverpool city's Didi Choy suffered a concussion in the 74th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Anil Ning fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Norbury's protests and gave Anil Ning a yellow card for diving instead. Anil Ning hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Liverpool city's Sean Chian got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 83rd minute Rifki Nair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teddy Grauel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alam Hian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egídio Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aziz Wah having to interfere. Teddy Grauel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Norbury's Aziz Wah got control of the ball when Egídio Palmeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicholas Hsi got free with Aziz Wah in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Liverpool city players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Norbury from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
