In the 43rd minute, Afriz Mathews reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lee Lee. The goal made the score 2-0. After 46 played minutes Rothwell United got a freekick which was hit by Hamir Butcher. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Khai Tee's late challenge caught a Rothwell United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Khai Tee helped the player get up and apologised. Khai Tee kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afriz Mathews in the 63rd minute of play forced RBKD FC's goalkeeper Lee Lee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afriz Mathews took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lee Lee. Lee Lee dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 77thth minute of the game Faiz Phua who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RBKD FC's Lee Lee was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lee Lee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afriz Mathews in the 79th minute of the match. Lee Lee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faiz Phua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 played minutes Rothwell United got a freekick which was hit by Hamir Butcher. If Afriz Mathews had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lee Lee didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faiz Phua went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Zak Swee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Lim in the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute Afriz Mathews shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lee Lee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rothwell United fully deserved thier win.
