Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) Danish Henderson made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the match, Hawkcombe's goalkeeper Shahiran Chee had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Vijiaratnam. The supporters of Dunchurch booed when Hawkcombe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danish Henderson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Danish Henderson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Noh Lum was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Dunchurch's Noh Lum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danish Henderson in the 11th minute of play. Ali Vijiaratnam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Noh Lum didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danish Henderson went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jerry Ramachandran kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Noh Lum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danish Henderson's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shah Kang in the 33rd minute of play forced Hawkcombe's goalkeeper Shahiran Chee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 minutes Hawkcombe's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jerry Hsin who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Dunchurch's Jerry Hsin to fire away a dangerous shot which Shahiran Chee despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dunchurch's goalkeeper Noh Lum, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ron Sim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noh Lum having to interfere. Danish Henderson took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Noh Lum. Noh Lum dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Dunchurch's Khai Pillai slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Shahiran Chee. That made the score 1-2 after 45 minutes of play.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Khai Pillai made a kick off. Shahiran Chee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerry Ramachandran, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Noh Lum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danish Henderson's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Khai Pillai struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Shahiran Chee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dunchurch. Khai Pillai's late challenge caught a Hawkcombe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Khai Pillai helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, Dunchurch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Khai Pillai to maneuver through the defense. Hawkcombe's Anil Teo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 65th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Noh Lum but with some difficulty. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Merlin Seng got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 71 played minutes Dunchurch got a freekick which was hit by Khai Pillai. Faizal Rajah's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Noh Lum skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ali Vijiaratnam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Shahiran Chee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Hidayat Lee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute of the match Anil Teo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Noh Lum showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Dunchurch's Khai Pillai got a free kick in the 84th minute. Faizal Rajah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Noh Lum made a huge save. Dunchurch's Noh Lum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Dunchurch from getting a goal against them. Noh Lum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danish Henderson in the 94th minute of play. Jerry Ramachandran hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the match was over Hawkcombe could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dunchurch throughout the match.
