The crowd rose to their feet as Azam Swee kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ronn Chew. That made the score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. Sharizan Dryburgh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronn Chew showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fariz Lim, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iskandar Hongyi got free with Ronn Chew in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sharizan Dryburgh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ronn Tuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronn Chew was a little too slow when Alam Ning got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-1. Fariz Lim might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronn Chew. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fariz Lim ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the ≮王者归来≯小坏蛋 defense, Iskandar Hongyi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronn Chew. The ≮王者归来≯小坏蛋 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronn Chew should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When Azam Liang fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tiverton United's protests and gave Azam Liang a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tiverton United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! Ronn Chew took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iskandar Hongyi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronn Chew stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iskandar Hongyi's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Fariz Lim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tiverton United's supporters rose to their feet, but Fariz Lim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronn Chew breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Samuel Ning kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. Iskandar Yang struck a weak shot in the 100th minute. Ronn Tuan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ≮王者归来≯小坏蛋. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tiverton United had played much better football throughout.
