Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Shah Yeo made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 10 minutes, Nicholas Abisheganaden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Basingstoke United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicholas Abisheganaden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Merlin Liang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faizal Au having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Shah Yeo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ealing AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Shah Yeo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faizal Au breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicholas Abisheganaden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Darryl Tioe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shah Yeo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faizal Au made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merlin Liang in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Afiq Tan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ealing AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Basingstoke United the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicholas Abisheganaden in the 42nd minute of play forced Ealing AFC's goalkeeper Darryl Tioe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basingstoke United's Nicholas Abisheganaden got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicholas Abisheganaden made a kick off. When Basingstoke United's Nicholas Abisheganaden in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ealing AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicholas Abisheganaden in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Darryl Tioe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 55 played minutes Ealing AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sean Teo. Nicholas Abisheganaden struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Darryl Tioe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basingstoke United. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicholas Abisheganaden in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Darryl Tioe saved Ealing AFC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Anil Chong managed to get in a good position for a shot. Basingstoke United's supporters rose to their feet, but Anil Chong was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darryl Tioe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anil Chong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71stth minute of the game Nicholas Abisheganaden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ealing AFC's Darryl Tioe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Basingstoke United booed when Ealing AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afiq Tan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Basingstoke United's Nicholas Abisheganaden in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A collision led to Basingstoke United getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Nicholas Abisheganaden hit a great ball. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Basingstoke United's goalkeeper Faizal Au, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Shah Yeo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ealing AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Shah Yeo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faizal Au breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, Afiq Tan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ealing AFC's zone, Anil Chong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darryl Tioe came out of the goal and Anil Chong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute Nicholas Abisheganaden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darryl Tioe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shafiq Wah charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shafiq Wah the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Shafiq Wah hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Darryl Tioe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicholas Abisheganaden in the 91st minute of play. Darryl Tioe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicholas Abisheganaden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darryl Tioe came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Basingstoke United's Wong Chai. But to his dismay, Wong Chai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0.
