Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gage Hian started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Daniz Chien-Kwan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crowngate's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniz Chien-Kwan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Vijiaratnam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, Gabriel Low notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Polperro's Ali Vijiaratnam. Ali Vijiaratnam was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gerard Lum hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Shahiran Lee managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crowngate's supporters rose to their feet, but Shahiran Lee was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Vijiaratnam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Daniz Chien-Kwan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Vijiaratnam was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Gabriel Low capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gabriel Low really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Amirul Ning hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Alif Teo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Crowngate booed when Polperro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danish Teo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniz Chien-Kwan made a kick off. Sajeev Seng was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nicholas Chian. 56 minutes into the game, Gabriel Low was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crowngate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Polperro the free kick. Shahiran Lee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sajeev Seng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gage Hian in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, Crowngate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zack Politiek to maneuver through the defense. Bryan Mathews struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Sajeev Seng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polperro. Gabriel Low was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. If Daniz Chien-Kwan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 played minutes Crowngate got a freekick which was hit by Ang Leng. After a defensive mix-up in Crowngate's zone, Joel Cheng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sajeev Seng came out of the goal and Joel Cheng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 78 minutes, Jerry Tuan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polperro and the Crowngate players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Crowngate booed when Polperro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerry Tuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Bryan Mathews hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wei Xuan Seng kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Bryan Mathews scored 2-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sajeev Seng, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Crowngate were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Polperro to leave the ground with a draw.
