Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) 0-1 became the score in the 6th minute when Alif Teo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Crowngate's goalkeeper Sajeev Seng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Khai Lim. Anil Chan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shahiran Lee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Wombwell's zone, Gabriel Low stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anil Chan came out of the goal and Gabriel Low tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alif Teo during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alif Teo kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After 22 minutes Crowngate's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rifki Dryburgh who took care of the corner kick. Ang Leng thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Sajeev Seng, a very annoying self made goal in the 22nd minute which led to 1-1. When Shahiran Lee came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Crowngate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shahiran Lee couldn't finish the play. In the 27th match minute, Wombwell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clive Cho to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Haziq Hui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sajeev Seng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shahiran Lee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Anil Chan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerard Lum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shahiran Lee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anil Chan having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniz Chien-Kwan was the one to do the kick off. Shahiran Lee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anil Chan having to interfere. Crowngate's Alif Teo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Clive Cho in the 71 minute of the game. Alif Teo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anil Chan having to make a save. Shahiran Lee struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Anil Chan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crowngate. Gabriel Low received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Anil Chan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Crowngate's Shahiran Lee got a free kick in the 78th minute. Sajeev Seng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shahiran Seng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alif Teo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anil Chan having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, Ong Chian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Anil Chan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anil Chan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shahiran Lee in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute, Haziq Hui ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sajeev Seng was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Crowngate's zone, Khai Lim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sajeev Seng came out of the goal and Khai Lim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Crowngate left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Wombwell.
