Danial Seng charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danial Seng the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Atlético Singapur booed when Coleshill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danial Seng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Azam Chien-Kwan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 8 played minutes Atlético Singapur got a freekick which was hit by Faris Hui. After 11 minutes Atlético Singapur's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ang Siong who took care of the corner kick. Ang Siong made a great header on Coleshill's corner, it was just that Atlético Singapur's Bineesh Koh managed to reach the ball for a save. Bineesh Koh came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Coleshill's Zak Seng. But to his dismay, Zak Seng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bineesh Koh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Hsi in the 17th minute of the match. If Alex Hsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bineesh Koh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zak Seng went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shafiq Paine in the 26th minute of play forced Coleshill's goalkeeper Merlin Mathews to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Zak Seng cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Bineesh Koh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bineesh Koh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zak Seng in the 39th minute of play. Danial Seng hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shafiq Paine in the 42nd minute of play forced Coleshill's goalkeeper Merlin Mathews to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zak Seng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zak Seng to make the kick off. Bineesh Koh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Hsi in the 63rd minute of the match. Shafiq Paine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alex Hsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zak Seng might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bineesh Koh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zak Seng ran back to his position shaking his head. After 71 played minutes Coleshill got a freekick which was hit by Amir Braddell. Azam Chien-Kwan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merlin Mathews having to interfere. Danial Seng hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 76thth minute of the game Shafiq Paine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coleshill's Merlin Mathews was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 78th minute, Alex Hsi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bineesh Koh was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Dale Chai hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Azam Chien-Kwan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merlin Mathews having to interfere. Rifqi Laycock hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Bineesh Koh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zak Seng, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Coleshill's Zak Seng got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
