Spectators: 6984 (Terracing: 5210, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) West Kirby's Darryl Lam started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Darryl Lam blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jithu Gopala Pillai having to make a save. Jithu Gopala Pillai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darryl Lam went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lee Soon made in the 19th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Darryl Lee however managed to control. In the 22nd minute, West Kirby's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Darryl Lee fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Truro AFC booed when West Kirby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudy Seng didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Joel Politiek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Truro AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. West Kirby were winning 0-1.

Truro AFC's Jithu Gopala Pillai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darryl Lam in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Lee Soon threw the ball into play from the sideline. West Kirby's Mujahid Paine quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Azli Siong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sarb Chian in the 58th minute of play. 1-1 became the score in the 63rd minute when Sarb Chian elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lee Soon made in the 72nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Hidayat Hsin however managed to control. After a rather tough play, Truro AFC's Lee Soon got a free kick in the 79th minute. Darryl Lam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Ramachandran charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Ramachandran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute of the match Bryan Seng sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Azli Siong skillfully saved the ball. Azli Siong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hidayat Hsin, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When Joel Politiek was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, West Kirby's Joel Politiek got a free kick in the 94th minute. West Kirby were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
