The audience was convinced that Félix Steele's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arif Ning was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Mark Hsi struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Arif Ning didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for North Fambridge. Arif Ning stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mark Hsi's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Luminix Football Club's Arif Ning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Müfit Ünalp in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of North Fambridge booed when Luminix Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sean Hoe didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Müfit Ünalp notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Luminix Football Club's Arif Ning. Arif Ning was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arif Ning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Félix Steele in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Luminix Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Müfit Ünalp came free, but Arif Ning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Gerard Hong managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Fambridge's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerard Hong was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arif Ning breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. North Fambridge's Müfit Ünalp got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Müfit Ünalp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arif Ning read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The Luminix Football Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. North Fambridge were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Müfit Ünalp to make the kick off. Luminix Football Club's Arif Ning proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Luminix Football Club from getting a goal against them. Müfit Ünalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Ning having to interfere. North Fambridge's Félix Steele got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shahron Ning in the 57th minute of play forced North Fambridge's goalkeeper Azli Nair to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Müfit Ünalp kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arif Ning. That made the score 0-2 in the 58 minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Shahron Ning was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luminix Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave North Fambridge the free kick. After some careless play in the North Fambridge defense, Faizal Chan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Azli Nair. The North Fambridge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Azli Nair should have stopped the shot. Félix Steele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Arif Ning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Müfit Ünalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The North Fambridge fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when North Fambridge's Müfit Ünalp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 84th minute, Gerard Hong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Müfit Ünalp received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arif Ning came out and tried to block the shot, but Müfit Ünalp slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 91st minute. Müfit Ünalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Ning having to interfere.
