The referee ignored North Fambridge's protests and gave Mark Hsi a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 73 minutes, Mark Hsi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Fambridge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mark Hsi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the game, North Fambridge's Gerard Hong nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Farhan Abisheganaden made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Azli Nair made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Dale Yeo sent off a good shot on target. Dale Yeo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Azli Nair came out and tried to block the shot, but Dale Yeo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 90th minute. When the match was over Fulbourn could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than North Fambridge throughout the match.
