Samuel Hong's late challenge caught a Merlion Park MZT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Hong helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bridlington's Samuel Hong got a free kick in the 85th minute. Mark Teo struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Didi Choo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bridlington. After 90 played minutes Bridlington got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Hong. 91 minutes into the match, Merlion Park MZT's Darryl Yip broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide.
