Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anil Chian took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gabriel Rajah blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lee Yeo having to make a save. When Polperro's Ong Tuan in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clowne's goalie prevented a goal. Lee Yeo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudy Leng, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 22nd minute, Ong Tuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anil Chian in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rifqi Sum saved Clowne from getting behind. 32 minutes into the game, Rudy Seah cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lee Yeo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rudy Leng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Lee Yeo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anil Chian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Clowne were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rudy Leng to strike the kick off in the second half. Danial Vijiaratnam hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When Polperro's Ong Nair in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clowne's goalie prevented a goal. When Anil Chian came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Polperro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anil Chian couldn't finish the play. If Anil Chian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clowne's Rifqi Sum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anil Chian in the 62nd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Clowne's goal looked a bit too open when Ong Nair came free, but Rifqi Sum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rudy Leng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lee Yeo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudy Seah, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Rifqi Sum didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anil Chian went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Rudy Leng struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Lee Yeo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clowne. Ong Nair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rifqi Sum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anil Chian in the 89th minute of the match. If Ong Nair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Rajah struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Lee Yeo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clowne. Ong Nair scored 2-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rifqi Sum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Polperro were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Clowne for a fine match.
