Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mark Phua kicked off to start the match. Rudy Lee charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rudy Lee the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Fancyball Club's Rudy Lee got a free kick in the 4th minute. Sajeev Kool showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danial Henderson, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 11 minutes of play, Fancyball Club's Bineesh Lam made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sajeev Kool was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sajeev Kool took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Phua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sajeev Kool made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danial Henderson in the 19th minute of play. If Zack Tioe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fancyball Club's Tan Tee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zack Tioe in the 25th minute of play. Sajeev Kool came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Fancyball Club's Danial Henderson. But to his dismay, Danial Henderson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Hamir Yang took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Tan Tee to make any attempt to save it. Sajeev Kool took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Phua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fancyball Club's Felix Amin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Great Baddow. 47 minutes into the game, Fancyball Club's Mark Phua nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sajeev Kool made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Zack Tioe in the 55th minute of play forced Fancyball Club's goalkeeper Tan Tee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerard Choo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Sajeev Kool showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Phua in the 61st minute of the match. With a little luck, Great Baddow's Sajeev Kool got control of the ball when Danial Henderson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Zack Tioe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tan Tee. Fancyball Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zack Tioe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Mark Phua struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Sajeev Kool didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fancyball Club. Great Baddow's Sajeev Kool proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Great Baddow from getting a goal against them. Tan Tee stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hamir Yang's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Adam Soon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Tan Tee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamir Yang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Hamir Yang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Great Baddow's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamir Yang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tan Tee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Although Great Baddow had been in control for most of the match, Fancyball Club still came away with the win.
