Morpeth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rudy Namasivayam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Rudy Namasivayam sped through Glastonbury's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Faizal Swee. In the 39th match minute, Glastonbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shah Seng to maneuver through the defense. Azli Siong hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Mohammad Shiong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. The wind increased when Rudy Namasivayam made the kick off in the second half.
