Zak Mathews sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adam Swee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Vijiaratnam having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Azam Rajah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Faizal Swee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zak Mathews, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Azam Rajah succeeded in the game's 18th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Faizal Swee stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zak Mathews's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Adam Swee managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glastonbury's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Swee was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Vijiaratnam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Faizal Swee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Azam Rajah, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Faizal Swee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Farhan Seng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Clementi Team were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adam Swee to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Dyce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Vijiaratnam having to interfere. Albert Vijiaratnam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Swee in the 54th minute of play. Iskandar Chuan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Albert Vijiaratnam. Clementi Team's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Azam Rajah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Faizal Swee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faizal Swee came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Clementi Team's Zak Mathews. But to his dismay, Zak Mathews quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ronn Gopala Pillai hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Azam Rajah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Azam Rajah in the 73rd minute of play forced Glastonbury's goalkeeper Faizal Swee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Azam Rajah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute, Azli Siong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glastonbury's Faizal Swee proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Glastonbury from getting a goal against them. Azam Rajah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Faizal Swee made a huge save. Zak Mathews sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Zak Mathews had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faizal Swee. Glastonbury's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zak Mathews was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The Clementi Team supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Clementi Team would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
