Gerard Devan kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to Marlow getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Muhammad Tioe hit a great ball. Ron Namasivayam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faizal Teo in the 31st minute of the match. Sharizan Lee kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Ron Namasivayam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sharizan Lee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Gabriel Chong successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Penistone FC booed when Marlow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sharizan Lee didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Afriz Abisheganaden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Gerard Devan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gabriel Chong. That made the score 1-1 in the 43 minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Afriz Abisheganaden was the one to do the kick off. Gerard Devan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Chong having to interfere. Faizal Teo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ron Namasivayam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afriz Abisheganaden's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Marlow's Gabriel Chong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerard Devan in the 66th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Penistone FC's goal looked a bit too open when Afriz Abisheganaden came free, but Ron Namasivayam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afriz Abisheganaden in the 72nd minute of play forced Penistone FC's goalkeeper Ron Namasivayam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 played minutes Marlow got a freekick which was hit by Muhammad Tioe. A collision led to Penistone FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Danial Lee hit a great ball. When Faizal Teo came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Marlow fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faizal Teo couldn't finish the play. Penistone FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Afriz Abisheganaden scored to the left of an out of position Ron Namasivayam, making the score, 1-2. When Marlow's Afriz Abisheganaden in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Penistone FC's goalie prevented a goal. Afriz Abisheganaden hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Marlow had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
