Afiz Teo helped the player get up and apologised. Ang Hongyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hafriz Tian in the 4th minute of the match. Leighton Buzzard AFC's Hafriz Tian got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Woodlesford's Ang Hongyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hafriz Tian in the 14th minute of play. Firdauz Hee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Steven Choo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steven Choo made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Firdauz Hee sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the match, Woodlesford's goal looked a bit too open when Rifqi Ching came free, but Ang Hongyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hafriz Tian came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Leighton Buzzard AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hafriz Tian couldn't finish the play. If Rifqi Ching had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ang Hongyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rifqi Ching in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Firdauz Hee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Woodlesford's supporters crossed their fingers, but Firdauz Hee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Woodlesford's Firdauz Hee got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Sharizan Shiong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rifqi Ching was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Leighton Buzzard AFC's Rudy Abisheganaden got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Leighton Buzzard AFC's Hafriz Tian got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rifqi Ching succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 80th playminute. Woodlesford's Ang Hongyi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Woodlesford from getting a goal against them. Hafriz Tian struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Ang Hongyi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leighton Buzzard AFC.
