Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Albert Low started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Wei Xuan Devan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Steven Nair read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. After 5 played minutes Padstow AFC got a freekick which was hit by Joel Sim. After 7 played minutes, East Tilbury's Khairul Kool shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Steven Nair came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in East Tilbury reached it. Dale Dhanabalan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Steven Nair. Padstow AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Wei Xuan Devan managed to get in a good position for a shot. East Tilbury's supporters rose to their feet, but Wei Xuan Devan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Steven Nair breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alam Choo scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Steven Nair, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Padstow AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Wei Xuan Devan came free, but Steven Nair reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Padstow AFC's Steven Nair played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wei Xuan Devan in the 31st minute of play. Steven Nair made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alam Choo in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alam Choo in the 36th minute of play forced Padstow AFC's goalkeeper Steven Nair to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 minutes of play, East Tilbury's Zak Au made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Steven Nair was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alan Phua hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Steven Nair showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Dhanabalan, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute, Shukrie Ching ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Steven Nair was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After the first half East Tilbury were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alam Choo made a kick off. Wei Xuan Devan came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Steven Nair could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in East Tilbury's zone, Albert Low stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fariz Yip came out of the goal and Albert Low tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Padstow AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alam Choo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Wei Xuan Devan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Steven Nair came out and tried to block the shot, but Wei Xuan Devan slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 60th minute. Wei Xuan Devan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wei Xuan Devan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Steven Nair tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steven Nair made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alam Choo in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alam Choo in the 74th minute of play forced Padstow AFC's goalkeeper Steven Nair to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Zak Au left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The East Tilbury fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wei Xuan Devan got free with Steven Nair in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wei Xuan Devan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Steven Nair made a huge save. Zak Au fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steven Nair having to interfere. Padstow AFC's Steven Nair proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Padstow AFC from getting a goal against them. After 94 minutes, Joel Sim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Padstow AFC and the East Tilbury players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Padstow AFC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Joel Sim hit a great ball. East Tilbury's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
