Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sean Chian took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Leighton Buzzard AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sajeev Ramachandran. Steven Choo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sean Chian in the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th match minute, Grays was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryan Choo to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rudy Abisheganaden got free with Amirul Ning in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amirul Ning took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rifqi Ching, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amirul Ning made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Hafriz Tian sent off a good shot on target. After 33 played minutes Leighton Buzzard AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hafriz Tian. After 34 played minutes Grays got a freekick which was hit by Felix Kang. Amirul Ning made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hafriz Tian in the 35th minute. Amirul Ning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rifqi Ching, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Sean Chian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Leighton Buzzard AFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Haziq Mathews hit a great ball. If Sean Chian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amirul Ning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rifqi Ching, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rifqi Ching to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hafriz Tian in the 52nd minute of play forced Grays's goalkeeper Amirul Ning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Grays getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Felix Kang hit a great ball. Amirul Ning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudy Abisheganaden in the 59th minute of play. With 62 minutes on the clock, Bryan Choo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 61 minutes into the game, one of Grays:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Leighton Buzzard AFC a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Felix Pillai, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Grays's Amirul Ning. 1-0. Amirul Ning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hafriz Tian in the 70th minute of the match. In the 75th minute of the game Gabriel Choo made a throw-in which Rudy Abisheganaden played forward. In the 76th minute Rudy Abisheganaden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amirul Ning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Grays's Felix Kang got a free kick in the 85th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hafriz Tian in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amirul Ning saved Grays from getting behind. Amirul Ning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudy Abisheganaden in the 92nd minute of play. Grays's Amirul Ning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rifqi Ching in the 94th minute of play. Leighton Buzzard AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Grays for a fine match.
