Spectators: 6787 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 0) Brentwood's Muhammad Siang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Lee in the 4th minute of play. Lee Lam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lee Lam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhammad Siang having to interfere. Lee Lam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wong Ning took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Azly Nair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that John Lee's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Muhammad Siang was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Albert Rajah struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Wong Ning didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brentwood. Azly Nair's late challenge caught a heimu XI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Azly Nair helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Azly Nair hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albert Rajah kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. When heimu XI's John Lee in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brentwood's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Brentwood's zone, Lee Lam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Muhammad Siang came out of the goal and Lee Lam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, Afiz Politiek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Muhammad Siang was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After having played for 40 minutes, Azly Nair managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brentwood's supporters crossed their fingers, but Azly Nair was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 43rd play minutes John Lee shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Muhammad Siang and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 46th match minute, heimu XI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jithu Sim to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Brentwood's Steven Dhanabalan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when John Lee stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brentwood's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Afiz Politiek 53 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. In the 60th minute, Lee Lam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. heimu XI's Wong Ning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azly Nair in the 62nd minute of play. Muhammad Siang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afiz Politiek in the 64th minute of the match. Afiz Politiek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. heimu XI's Lee Lam got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If John Lee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 93 played minutes heimu XI got a freekick which was hit by Afriz Keng. When Steven Dhanabalan came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Brentwood fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steven Dhanabalan couldn't finish the play.
