Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Donnington AFC's Ronn Swee started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ong Wah stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronn Swee's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Ong Wah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronn Swee, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th match minute, Donnington AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shah Teo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronn Swee in the 27th minute of play forced Dunmow's goalkeeper Ong Wah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronn Swee in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ong Wah saved Dunmow from getting behind. 37 minutes into the game, Alan Dyce cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Alexander Seah was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Dunmow's Bakar Lim got a free kick in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zack Hian in the 46th minute of play forced Dunmow's goalkeeper Ong Wah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afriz Sum to make the kick off. Ronn Swee's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ong Wah read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Zack Hian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ong Wah having to make a save. Dunmow's Ong Wah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Dunmow from getting a goal against them. If Ronn Swee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 minutes, Steven Boon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dunmow and the Donnington AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Steven Boon kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute of the match Farhan Lee shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ong Wah showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Ronn Swee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zack Hian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Gerard Shyan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronn Swee struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Ong Wah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Donnington AFC. Alexander Seah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afriz Sum, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Donnington AFC's Ronn Swee got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Afriz Sum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dunmow's Ong Wah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Dunmow from getting a goal against them. Alan Dyce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Seah having to interfere.
