Spectators: 7320 (Terracing: 5820, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Holton-le-Clay United's Azly Chew started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lamar Au's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Tan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Azly Chew managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holton-le-Clay United's supporters rose to their feet, but Azly Chew was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Tan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute, Rifqi Sum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ostwaken City's Hamir Dryburgh got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Lamar Au managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holton-le-Clay United's supporters rose to their feet, but Lamar Au was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Tan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 23 minutes, Azly Chew made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ostwaken City's Jonathan Tan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Ostwaken City booed when Holton-le-Clay United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jithu Amin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wong Yip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ostwaken City's Jonathan Tan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azly Chew in the 39th minute of play. The referee gave Ostwaken City a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lee Tioe, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Holton-le-Clay United's Danial Tan. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wong Yip to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Tan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Azly Chew in the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Hamir Dryburgh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danial Tan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Wong Yip put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Danial Tan. When Hamir Dryburgh came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Ostwaken City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamir Dryburgh couldn't finish the play. If Azly Chew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ostwaken City's goalkeeper Jonathan Tan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Holton-le-Clay United's Azly Chew got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Hamir Dryburgh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Tan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Azly Chew, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronn Rajah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Holton-le-Clay United's goal looked a bit too open when Hamir Dryburgh came free, but Danial Tan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 92 minutes into the game, when Iskandar Sim put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Holton-le-Clay United a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sajeev Butcher, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ostwaken City's Jonathan Tan. 2-2. Lamar Au could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Jonathan Tan made a huge save. Holton-le-Clay United were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
