Spectators: 7333 (Terracing: 5833, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Hamir Dryburgh got free with Mark Tan in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13thth minute of the game Ronn Rajah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altrincham City's Mark Tan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Altrincham City's Mark Tan got control of the ball when Hamir Dryburgh tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabriel Gopala Pillai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mark Tan was a little too slow when Wong Yip got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. When Wong Yip came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Ostwaken City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wong Yip couldn't finish the play. Hafriz Hsin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hamir Dryburgh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gabriel Gopala Pillai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wong Yip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Tan having to interfere. When Hamir Dryburgh came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Ostwaken City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamir Dryburgh couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ostwaken City booed when Altrincham City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sean Rajah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lee Tioe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mark Tan. Altrincham City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Wong Yip managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ostwaken City's supporters rose to their feet, but Wong Yip was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mark Tan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mark Tan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wong Yip in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wong Yip to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Altrincham City's goalkeeper Mark Tan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sean Rajah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jonathan Tan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute Wong Yip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Tan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Sean Rajah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 minutes of play, Ostwaken City's Wong Yip made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mark Tan was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Gabriel Gopala Pillai fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Altrincham City's protests and gave Gabriel Gopala Pillai a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ostwaken City booed when Altrincham City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Gopala Pillai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mark Tan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iskandar Yip in the 71st minute of play. Hamir Dryburgh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Mark Tan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Ostwaken City's Wong Yip nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mark Tan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 86th match minute, Ostwaken City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iskandar Sim to maneuver through the defense. Wong Yip blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mark Tan having to make a save. After some careless play in the Altrincham City defense, Hamir Dryburgh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mark Tan. The Altrincham City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mark Tan should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ostwaken City fans cheered their team off the field, for while Altrincham City had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
