Spectators: 7787 (Terracing: 5841, Seating: 1791, VIP seats: 155) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Faris Seng got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Bryan Dryburgh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Earl Shilton's supporters rose to their feet, but Bryan Dryburgh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shahron Hongyi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Earl Shilton booed when Temapink Capolo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lamar Swee didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8thth minute of the game Bryan Dryburgh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Temapink Capolo FC's Shahron Hongyi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Shahron Hongyi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gage Hsi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryan Dryburgh in the 11th minute of play forced Temapink Capolo FC's goalkeeper Shahron Hongyi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Bryan Dryburgh notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Temapink Capolo FC's Shahron Hongyi. Shahron Hongyi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bryan Dryburgh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shahron Hongyi having to interfere. Amirul Pillai charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amirul Pillai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Earl Shilton booed when Temapink Capolo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amirul Pillai didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gage Hsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fariz Amin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Shahron Hongyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Gage Hsi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Shahron Hongyi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Gage Hsi put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Shahron Hongyi. Shahron Hongyi came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Earl Shilton's Gage Hsi. But to his dismay, Gage Hsi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Khai Cho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shahron Hongyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gage Hsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Gage Hsi managed to get in a good position for a shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bryan Dryburgh stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Faris Seng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gage Abdul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bryan Dryburgh struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Shahron Hongyi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Earl Shilton. 55 minutes into the match, Gage Hsi notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Temapink Capolo FC's Shahron Hongyi. Shahron Hongyi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bryan Dryburgh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shahron Hongyi having to make a save. After 68 minutes of play, Earl Shilton's Gage Hsi made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Shahron Hongyi was left in no man's land by his defense there! A sloppy throw-in by Jonathan Shyan in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Earl Shilton's Afriz Tioe. In the 74th minute Gage Hsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shahron Hongyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Gage Hsi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Bryan Dryburgh took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Shahron Hongyi to make any attempt to save it. If Fariz Amin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shahron Hongyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryan Dryburgh in the 83rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Temapink Capolo FC's Amirul Pillai got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Bryan Dryburgh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lamar Swee kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Bryan Dryburgh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shahron Hongyi having to interfere. In the 94th minute Gage Hsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shahron Hongyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fariz Amin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shahron Hongyi having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Earl Shilton left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Temapink Capolo FC.
