Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Chuan in the 3rd minute of play forced Earl Shilton's goalkeeper Gage Abdul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 minutes, Gage Hsi made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Thorpe-le-Soken's Jonathan Chian tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 10 minutes, Gage Hsi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Earl Shilton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gage Hsi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute, Earl Shilton's Bryan Dryburgh ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Chian. Jonathan Chian yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Fariz Amin might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Chian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fariz Amin ran back to his position shaking his head. Gage Hsi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. Earl Shilton's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 28th minute, Gage Hsi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute, Daniel Sarangapani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Earl Shilton's Bryan Dryburgh was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Fariz Amin charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fariz Amin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fariz Amin hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Fariz Amin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Chian 36 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Thorpe-le-Soken's Jonathan Chian got control of the ball when Gage Hsi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thorpe-le-Soken's Jonathan Chian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Thorpe-le-Soken from getting a goal against them. Gage Hsi might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Chian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gage Hsi ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonathan Chuan to make the kick off. Jonathan Chian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fariz Amin in the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Earl Shilton's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Chuan came free, but Gage Abdul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Chian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afriz Tioe in the 60th minute of play. If Fariz Amin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Thorpe-le-Soken's goalkeeper Jonathan Chian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fariz Amin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jonathan Chian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bryan Dryburgh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 69 minutes, Gage Hsi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Earl Shilton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gage Hsi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Gage Hsi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Chian. Thorpe-le-Soken's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gage Hsi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Jonathan Chian came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Earl Shilton's Bryan Dryburgh. But to his dismay, Bryan Dryburgh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 78 minutes into the match, Thorpe-le-Soken's goal looked a bit too open when Fariz Amin came free, but Jonathan Chian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bryan Dryburgh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jonathan Chian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bryan Dryburgh in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Chian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute, Khai Cho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Chian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryan Dryburgh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Thorpe-le-Soken's goal looked a bit too open when Gage Hsi came free, but Jonathan Chian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Khai Cho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jonathan Chian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Khai Cho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bryan Dryburgh might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Chian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bryan Dryburgh ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee ended the match the Earl Shilton players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
