The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ali Lim showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Eltham AFC's zone, Danish Dyce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dylon Pickering came out of the goal and Danish Dyce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alexander Choy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Dunston's Ali Lim got control of the ball when Charles Stayton tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12thth minute of the game Alexander Choy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eltham AFC's Dylon Pickering was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Eltham AFC's zone, Alexander Choy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dylon Pickering came out of the goal and Alexander Choy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 22 played minutes, Dunston's Bakar Lim shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dylon Pickering came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dunston reached it. Dylon Pickering showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Choy in the 24th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Pieng during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Eltham AFC booed when Dunston was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Pieng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Lightfoot charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Lightfoot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Dunston booed when Eltham AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Lightfoot didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 minutes of play Eltham AFC's Robert Lightfoot was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After recieving a nice pass, Dunston's Merlin Tan tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Danish Dyce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th match minute, Eltham AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Jobson to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Sebastien Boulton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Dunston's Merlin Tan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charles Stayton to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Danish Dyce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dylon Pickering was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Danish Dyce capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Danish Dyce really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Danish Dyce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Eltham AFC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Sebastien Boulton hit a great ball. After 69 played minutes Dunston got a freekick which was hit by Danish Dyce. In the 73rd minute, Sean Brearley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danish Dyce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylon Pickering having to interfere. With his leg Dylon Pickering managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Dunston's Alexander Choy fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alexander Choy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dunston's Danish Dyce in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eltham AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Alexander Choy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dylon Pickering having to make a save. Alexander Choy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylon Pickering having to interfere. Dylon Pickering made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Alexander Choy sent off a good shot on target. Eltham AFC's Dylon Pickering played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danish Dyce in the 93rd minute of play. Alexander Choy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Dunston could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Eltham AFC throughout the match.
