Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andre Dimmock started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Eltham AFC's Tom Deaconsfield got a free kick in the 6th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Nicholas Tee recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dylon Pickering. Nicholas Tee showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Serangoon Lions's Gerard Kang got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alam Abisheganaden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Dylon Pickering made a huge save. If Alam Abisheganaden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dylon Pickering made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicholas Tee in the 30th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Eltham AFC's zone, Nicholas Tee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dylon Pickering came out of the goal and Nicholas Tee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerard Kang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylon Pickering having to interfere. A collision led to Eltham AFC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Sean Brearley hit a great ball. In the 46th play minute Alam Abisheganaden came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dylon Pickering. 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Nicholas Tee made the kick off in the second half. Alam Abisheganaden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylon Pickering having to interfere. With a little luck, Serangoon Lions's Hafriz Hock got control of the ball when Ronny Beecham tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 58 played minutes Serangoon Lions got a freekick which was hit by Ang Abdul. When Serangoon Lions's Nicholas Tee in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eltham AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Nicholas Tee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylon Pickering having to interfere. Nicholas Tee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicholas Tee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastien Boulton hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 82 played minutes Serangoon Lions got a freekick which was hit by Alam Abisheganaden. In the 84th match minute, Serangoon Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shahron Teo to maneuver through the defense. Sean Brearley was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Dylon Pickering made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alam Abisheganaden in the 89th minute of play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Alam Abisheganaden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eltham AFC's Dylon Pickering was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute, Sebastien Boulton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alam Abisheganaden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Serangoon Lions fully deserved thier win.
