Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bryan Chong got the match started through his kick off. In the 8th minute, Bryan Chong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Seah was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Swadlincote's Afiz Hsi got a free kick in the 13th minute. Haziq Butcher's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wong Teo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rudy Chien-Kwan in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Seah saved Padstow United from getting behind. Rudy Chien-Kwan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Gabriel Seah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Padstow United got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Hong. After 23 minutes of play, Swadlincote's Bryan Chong made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Seah was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Wong Teo managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Padstow United's Haziq Butcher fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bryan Chong hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Haziq Butcher's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wong Teo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Padstow United's goal looked a bit too open when Amir Soon came free, but Gabriel Seah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wong Teo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haziq Butcher's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Wong Teo made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Haziq Butcher sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When Padstow United's Haziq Butcher in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Swadlincote's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 54 minutes, Gage Siang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Padstow United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gage Siang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ang Paine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryan Chong in the 60th minute of play forced Padstow United's goalkeeper Gabriel Seah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Haziq Butcher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Swadlincote's Wong Teo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Padstow United fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Padstow United's Haziq Butcher looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Wong Teo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haziq Butcher's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Gabriel Seah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amir Soon in the 72nd minute of the match. Gabriel Seah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amir Soon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Cho's late challenge caught a Swadlincote's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Cho helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Padstow United getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Ali Cho hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Bryan Chong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Swadlincote's zone, Haziq Butcher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wong Teo came out of the goal and Haziq Butcher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zack Lam kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Padstow United's goal looked a bit too open when Amir Soon came free, but Gabriel Seah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bryan Chong was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Swadlincote getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Bryan Chong hit a great ball. When Gage Siang came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Padstow United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gage Siang couldn't finish the play. Gabriel Seah didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afiz Hsi went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. The Swadlincote supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Swadlincote would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
