Noh Butcher hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gage Siang in the 18th minute of play forced Stanmore's goalkeeper Famih Liang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gage Siang got free with Famih Liang in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ang Paine's late challenge caught a Stanmore's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ang Paine helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Stanmore booed when Padstow United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ang Paine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Padstow United's Ang Hsin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ong Au, made in the 26th minute of the game. Famih Liang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gage Siang in the 27th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Haziq Butcher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Famih Liang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Padstow United's Gabriel Seah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didi Chan in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Stanmore's goalkeeper Famih Liang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sarb Kang. A sloppy throw-in by Khairil Pillai in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Padstow United's Gage Siang. Gage Siang came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Famih Liang could save by the left post. 42 minutes into the match, Haziq Butcher dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Famih Liang, 2-0. Gabriel Seah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khai Lee in the 46th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Stanmore's Didi Chan got a free kick in the 48th minute. When Padstow United's Haziq Butcher in the 49th minute got a chance for a shot 49th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stanmore's goalie prevented a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 54th minute, Ang Paine left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Padstow United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 62 minutes, Khai Lee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stanmore and the Padstow United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Padstow United's attentive Sarb Kang managed to snatch the ball when Khairil Pillai made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. Stanmore's Khai Lee got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Ang Hsin had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 72 minutes into the game, Didi Chan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stanmore's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Padstow United the free kick. Didi Chan kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Ang Paine notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Stanmore's Famih Liang. Famih Liang was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 85 minutes into the game, Khai Lee recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gabriel Seah. Khai Lee showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. In the 89th minute, Ong Au hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afiq Ramachandran hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Padstow United's attentive Gage Siang managed to snatch the ball when Khairil Pillai made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. Ang Paine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Famih Liang having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Padstow United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
