Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jerry Yeo started the match with the kick off. Rifqi Choo hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After 9 played minutes Shirebrook got a freekick which was hit by Gara Chong. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danial Laycock during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Amirul Seng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Yeo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amirul Seng made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Ryan Sum sent off a good shot on target. Afriz Yeo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniz Chai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afriz Yeo in the 20th minute of play. Daniz Chai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wong Lim went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ryan Sum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rifqi Choo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ryan Sum got free with Amirul Seng in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, Shirebrook's Ryan Sum sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amirul Seng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Afriz Yeo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Jerry Yeo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 44th minute Afriz Yeo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniz Chai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afriz Yeo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wong Lim made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Shirebrook's Alam Choo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute Faizal Butcher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniz Chai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Shirebrook defense, Afriz Yeo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniz Chai. The Shirebrook fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniz Chai should have stopped the shot. Alan Au charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alan Au the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Millbrook AFC's Alan Au got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute of the match Alam Choo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amirul Seng skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Jerry Yeo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amirul Seng was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. 73 minutes into the match, Shirebrook's goal looked a bit too open when Wong Lim came free, but Daniz Chai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Wong Lim fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Amirul Seng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryan Sum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerry Yeo took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amirul Seng. Amirul Seng dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 82 played minutes Shirebrook got a freekick which was hit by Afiq Devan. Wong Lim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Ryan Sum left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shirebrook fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
