The tension between the Wythenshaw and the Davehuat United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Wythenshaw getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Gerard Chong hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Davehuat United's Zack Paine slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Faizal Koh. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Zack Paine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Zack Paine fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Faizal Koh, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Wythenshaw's zone, Zack Paine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faizal Koh came out of the goal and Zack Paine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Zack Paine came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Davehuat United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zack Paine couldn't finish the play. Faiz Soon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ron Yang having to interfere. In the 34th minute Wythenshaw were awarded a corner. Shahron Peng went to the cornerflag to take it. 40 minutes into the match, Davehuat United's goal looked a bit too open when Darren Chian came free, but Ron Yang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faiz Soon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zack Paine to strike the kick off in the second half. Wythenshaw's Faizal Koh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zack Paine in the 51st minute of play. Davehuat United's Danial Koh got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Danial Koh notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Wythenshaw's Faizal Koh. Faizal Koh was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Faizal Koh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zack Paine in the 59th minute of the match. Danial Koh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Faizal Koh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 minutes of play, Davehuat United's Zack Paine made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faizal Koh was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ron Yang made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Faiz Soon sent off a good shot on target. 76 minutes into the match, Wythenshaw's goal looked a bit too open when Danial Koh came free, but Faizal Koh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Davehuat United's Ron Yang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darren Chian in the 84th minute of play. After 86 minutes of play Wythenshaw's Gerard Chong was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 86th match minute, Wythenshaw was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerard Chong to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute of the match Jerry Hoe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faizal Koh showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zack Paine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faizal Koh having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danial Koh in the 96th minute of play forced Wythenshaw's goalkeeper Faizal Koh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
