Spectators: 6060 (Terracing: 4700, Seating: 1300, VIP seats: 60) Rawtenstall FC's Felix Soon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Danish Nair made a precise shot to the right of Ronn Lim. Rawtenstall FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Danish Nair took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronn Lim. Ronn Lim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Wei Xuan Chong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ronn Lim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danish Nair in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronn Lim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Danial Lee fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rawtenstall FC's protests and gave Danial Lee a yellow card for diving instead. Danial Lee hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Danish Nair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronn Lim having to interfere. Felix Soon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Alex Shyan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danish Nair in the 25th minute of play forced Rawtenstall FC's goalkeeper Ronn Lim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronn Lim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danish Nair's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Wei Xuan Chong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronn Lim was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Ronn Lim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danish Nair, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Wei Xuan Chong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronn Lim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danish Nair went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Rawtenstall FC's zone, Jonathan Chew stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronn Lim came out of the goal and Jonathan Chew tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronn Lim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danish Nair in the 44th minute of the match. Ronn Lim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danish Nair, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The Rawtenstall FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Combe Martian United were winning 0-4.

Zak Namasivayam kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. If Felix Soon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Combe Martian United getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jonathan Chew hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the game, Faizal Choy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Combe Martian United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rawtenstall FC the free kick. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Combe Martian United! Felix Soon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 77 played minutes Combe Martian United got a freekick which was hit by Victor Seah. Rawtenstall FC's Ronn Lim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danish Nair in the 80th minute of play. Danish Nair's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronn Lim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 86 minutes, Wei Xuan Chong managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Combe Martian United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wei Xuan Chong was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danish Nair in the 88th minute of play forced Rawtenstall FC's goalkeeper Ronn Lim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronn Lim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danish Nair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danish Nair might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronn Lim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danish Nair ran back to his position shaking his head. Combe Martian United played a much better game than Rawtenstall FC and deserved their victory. The Rawtenstall FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
