Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jerry Ning got the match started through his kick off. SouthSingapore's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Aziz Cheng scored to the left of an out of position Wong Wah, making the score, 1-0. After having played for 12 minutes, Jerry Ning managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SouthSingapore's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerry Ning was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Boscastle's Darryl Au got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute, Aziz Cheng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jerry Ning kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Aziz Cheng came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wong Wah could save by the left post. The supporters of SouthSingapore booed when Boscastle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danial Hui didn't get a good kick on the ball. SouthSingapore's Jerry Ning got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Danial Hui hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Aziz Cheng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Wong Wah made a huge save. When Faiz Dyce came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the SouthSingapore fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faiz Dyce couldn't finish the play. Jithu Hsi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Ning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boscastle's Jithu Hsi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clive Wenyong in the 37th minute of play. Jithu Hsi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danial Koh in the 38th minute of the match. Jithu Hsi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerry Ning, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Boscastle's Jithu Hsi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Ning in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Sarb Hee made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Jerry Ning got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61stth minute of the game Jerry Ning who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boscastle's Jithu Hsi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Jerry Ning came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the SouthSingapore fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerry Ning couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute, Danial Hui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Darryl Au fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boscastle's protests and gave Darryl Au a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SouthSingapore booed when Boscastle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darryl Au didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerry Ning hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Ning in the 82nd minute of play forced Boscastle's goalkeeper Jithu Hsi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jithu Hsi stood somewhat misplaced when Jerry Ning came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 84 minute. 91 minutes into the game, Boscastle's Sarb Hee nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wong Wah made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Boscastle's Jithu Hsi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Ning in the 95th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Boscastle's zone, Haziq Wah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jithu Hsi came out of the goal and Haziq Wah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
