Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Danish Nair made the kick off which started today's match. When Danish Nair came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Combe Martian United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danish Nair couldn't finish the play. 5 minutes into the match, Peterlee's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Chew came free, but Azam Tian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Wenyong hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Asiz Ramachandran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Shyan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khairil Chien-Kwan in the 13th minute of play forced Combe Martian United's goalkeeper Alex Shyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danish Nair in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Azam Tian saved Peterlee from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Jonathan Chew managed to get in a good position for a shot. Combe Martian United's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Chew was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Azam Tian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute Ang Ning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azam Tian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Azam Tian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danish Nair in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danish Nair in the 29th minute of play forced Peterlee's goalkeeper Azam Tian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wong Lee hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 33 minutes, Wong Lee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peterlee and the Combe Martian United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Khairil Chien-Kwan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Alex Shyan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Combe Martian United's Jonathan Chew got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The throw-in from Wong Lee in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Combe Martian United's Gabriel Boon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danish Nair in the 44th minute of play forced Peterlee's goalkeeper Azam Tian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Khairil Chien-Kwan to make the kick off. If Jonathan Chew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danish Nair in the 54th minute of play forced Peterlee's goalkeeper Azam Tian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Azam Tian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danish Nair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Shyan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Khairil Chien-Kwan went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Alex Shyan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Asiz Ramachandran in the 61st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Alex Shyan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Azam Tian came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Combe Martian United's Danish Nair. But to his dismay, Danish Nair quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. With a little luck, Combe Martian United's Alex Shyan got control of the ball when Asiz Ramachandran tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute, Danish Nair left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Combe Martian United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Azam Tian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Chew in the 81st minute of play. Alex Shyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khairil Chien-Kwan in the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khairil Chien-Kwan in the 86th minute of play forced Combe Martian United's goalkeeper Alex Shyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danish Nair received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Azam Tian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Combe Martian United's Gabriel Boon got a free kick in the 90th minute. Combe Martian United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
