Spectators: 8019 (Terracing: 6016, Seating: 1844, VIP seats: 159) When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Sid Sparkes sped through MirellasBar N.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Albert Phua. After a defensive mix-up in MirellasBar N.C.'s zone, Sid Sparkes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Phua came out of the goal and Sid Sparkes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, MirellasBar N.C.'s Lamar Lee broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graham Busby in the 17th minute of play forced MirellasBar N.C.'s goalkeeper Albert Phua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Graham Busby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Azam Tan struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Stevie Land didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MirellasBar N.C.. Albert Phua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Graham Busby, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Sid Sparkes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Phua having to interfere. Albert Phua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Graham Busby in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Graham Busby cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Albert Phua was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Faiz Ching received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Stevie Land tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Faiz Ching stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sid Sparkes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albert Phua read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Redcar's Stevie Land played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faiz Ching in the 65th minute of play. When Redcar's Sid Sparkes, in the 67th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Redcar. After 78 minutes, Jonathan Swee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MirellasBar N.C. and the Redcar players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, MirellasBar N.C.'s Jonathan Swee got a free kick in the 78th minute. Redcar's Stevie Land played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azam Tan in the 80th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Sid Sparkes could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Albert Phua however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, MirellasBar N.C.'s Joel Ching got a free kick in the 90th minute. After a defensive mix-up in MirellasBar N.C.'s zone, Rio Barr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Phua came out of the goal and Rio Barr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lamar Lee charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lamar Lee the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. MirellasBar N.C.:s Albert Phua showed great skill when he stopped Rio Barr:s penalty. Albert Phua came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Redcar's Rio Barr. But to his dismay, Rio Barr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 98th minute, Joel Ching hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 99th minute, Rio Barr sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and MirellasBar N.C.'s Albert Phua didn't even have to move.
