The supporters of Otley City booed when Bradford City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Tan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shafiq Lim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danish Lam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mohammad Soon fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bradford City's protests and gave Mohammad Soon a yellow card for diving instead. Mohammad Soon kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Danish Lam struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Shafiq Lim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Otley City. After 10 played minutes Bradford City got a freekick which was hit by Mohammad Soon. In the 12th minute Danish Lam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shafiq Lim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shafiq Abisheganaden might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Hong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shafiq Abisheganaden ran back to his position shaking his head. Otley City's Ali Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amir Low in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Bradford City booed when Otley City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haziq Swee didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Danish Lam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Otley City's supporters rose to their feet, but Danish Lam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shafiq Lim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute, Mohammad Soon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shafiq Lim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afiq Hsin, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amir Low in the 41st minute of play forced Otley City's goalkeeper Ali Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Amir Low had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amir Low recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amir Low was the one to do the kick off. Bradford City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hidayat Cheng in the 54th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Fariz Seah heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Afiq Hsin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 63 minutes, Danish Lam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Otley City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danish Lam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Haziq Swee fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Otley City's protests and gave Haziq Swee a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Otley City got a freekick which was hit by Haziq Swee. 75 minutes into the match, Bradford City's goalkeeper Shafiq Lim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danish Lam. Ali Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amir Low in the 80th minute of the match. Danish Lam came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Shafiq Lim could save by the left post. Bradford City's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Danish Lam scored to the left of an out of position Shafiq Lim, making the score, 0-1. Shafiq Lim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afiq Hsin in the 87th minute of the match. If Afiq Hsin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Bradford City's Mohammad Soon got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 95th minute, Afiq Hsin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otley City's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
