The supporters of MirellasBar N.C. booed when Rawtenstall FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azly Tee didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Felix Soon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albert Phua was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Azly Tee hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Rawtenstall FC's Ronn Lim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faiz Ching in the 24th minute of play. Ronn Lim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faiz Ching, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute Azam Tan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronn Lim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Seng kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The audience cheered when Lamar Lee's long shot passed Ronn Lim's right side. It was 0-2, 30 minutes into the match. Albert Phua had great luck who in the 38thth minute grab hold of the ball when Felix Soon from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Ronn Lim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faiz Ching in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Iskandar Rajah was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MirellasBar N.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rawtenstall FC the free kick. In the 56th minute, Azam Tan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronn Lim was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Iskandar Rajah hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Azam Tan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronn Lim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Azam Tan in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Azam Tan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronn Lim. Rawtenstall FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Azam Tan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 88th minute Faiz Ching shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronn Lim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Lamar Lee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Felix Soon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rawtenstall FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Soon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Phua breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
