An unexpectedly hard shot by Khairil Chien-Kwan in the 66th minute of play forced MirellasBar N.C.'s goalkeeper Albert Phua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Khairil Chien-Kwan sped through MirellasBar N.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Albert Phua. MirellasBar N.C.'s Faiz Ching got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
